Who we are
Pixel Wholesale & Liquidation sells new, open-box, refurbished and pre-owned goods from 1840 Industrial Dr, Suite 220, Libertyville, Illinois, on this website, through our eBay stores Pixel District and Pixel_Dust21, and on other marketplaces. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you use this website, shop with us or contact us, and what we do with it.
What we collect
When you order
Your name, email address, phone number, shipping address or chosen pickup time, and what you bought. Payment card details are entered into Shopify Checkout and handled by Shopify and its payment processors. We never see or store your full card number.
When you message us
What you send through the message form, a text, a call or an email: usually your name, phone number, email address and what you are looking for.
When you browse
The pages you visit, the device and browser you use, and an approximate location based on your IP address, collected with cookies and Google Analytics. Your cart is kept in your own browser until you check out.
When you buy on a marketplace
Orders placed on eBay or another marketplace are covered by that marketplace’s own privacy policy. The marketplace shares with us what we need to ship or hand over your order.
How we use it
- To process and ship your order, or to arrange your pickup.
- To send order, pickup and tracking messages by text or email.
- To answer your questions and check stock for you.
- To prevent fraud and keep the store secure.
- To understand which pages and products people use, so we can improve the store.
- To meet our tax, accounting and legal obligations.
We send marketing messages only if you ask for them, and every one tells you how to stop. Reply STOP to any text to opt out of texts.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the companies that help us run the store, and only what each one needs:
- Shopify, which hosts the store and the checkout.
- Payment processors, which handle your payment.
- Shipping carriers such as USPS and UPS, which deliver your order.
- Suppliers that ship some items straight to you, which receive your name, shipping address and phone number for that delivery only.
- Google Analytics, which measures how the site is used.
- Marketplaces such as eBay, Walmart and Google, when you buy there.
We may also share information when the law requires it, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of selling the business.
Cookies and analytics
Some cookies and browser storage are needed for the cart and checkout to work. Others, from Google Analytics, measure visits. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics with Google’s browser add-on. Blocking the cart’s storage will stop the cart from working.
The map on the home page loads from Google Maps only when you tap Show the map. Google may set its own cookies once it loads.
Your cart and the items you viewed recently are kept in your own browser (local storage), so they are still there when you come back. Clearing your browser data removes them.
How long we keep it
We keep order records for as long as tax and accounting rules require. We keep messages for as long as we need them to help you, then delete them.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you the personal information we hold about you, correct it or delete it, and you can opt out of marketing at any time. Contact us using the details below and we will answer promptly, and always within any time limit the law sets. Some state laws give residents additional rights; we honor these requests for every customer, wherever they live.
Security
Payments go through Shopify Checkout over an encrypted connection, and only the people who need your information to fill your order can see it. No method of storing or sending information is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect it.
Children
This store is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be shown on the site before they take effect.
